1st XV

Captain's Address

As incoming captain of County Cavan Rugby Football Club, it is an honour & privilege to represent the club at this level. The previous two seasons have seen a strong foundation laid and I as captain will be looking to improve our position within the league. I will also be expecting a full squad effort in taking the honours in this years Gordon West Cup

In order to progress all players within the club must be persistent in their efforts and commitment throughout the season. It is important that there is an internal competitiveness within the first XV and call upon all players. I will endeavour towards fellow players, the club, the jersey and the sport of rugby itself.

I would like to wish Eddie Brady the best of luck in his role as 2nd XV team captain for the second successive year. Let us make sure that this years league and cup campaigns bring their just rewards.

Captain's Address

It is a great honour for me to captain the 2nd XV at County Cavan Rugby Football Club for second season. I would hope the we can go one better this season and bring home a coveted league title and maintain the high standard of competitivness and gamesmanship which we have shown over the last couple of seasons. I hope to see many of our talented young players breaking into the higher leagues this seaons.

I would like to wish all our club teams every success in there respective competitions, and I would like to thank all the players, coaches and officials for there continued support throughout the coming seaons.
